Impossible To Forget: Chapter One
Year 2004 - Hong Kong
Hebe walked roughly up the stairs, stomping her feet as hard and as loud as she could to prove her point. She was not happy and she was sure to make that message clear to everyone. The maids scurried after the hot tempered girl and tried their best to stay clear from her wrath. "Miss Hebe, we must join your mother for afternoon tea."

Hebe spun around and gave an icy glare, causing the maids to gasp in fear. "I don't want to go to afternoon tea. Tell my mom that I'm sick or I died, whatever excuse you can make up."

The maid gave her a perplexed look and quietly whispered, "She has already prepared your outfit and demands  that you join her or she'll have to cancel all your extra curricular activities for the rest of the day."

Hebe let out a frustrated yell, "It's not enough that they plan everything for me but now they have to have absolute control over my life? Should I even call it my life?!"

Kenny returned and noticed how scared the maids were and motioned for them to leave, "Hebe. Let's go."

The maids let out quiet sighs of relief, they were free from Hebe's wrath. They survived. Hebe continued to stomp towards her room and plopped right on her bed. Kenny shook his head as he carefully picked up the dress that Mrs. Tian bought for the occasion. "Hebe get dressed. I promise you, I'll make sure you leave tea early so get ready."

"Hebe!" A high pitch voice called out to Hebe who walked out to the garden. "Glad you could join us."

Hebe slowly took her time walking to the table. The ladies rushed to give her some hugs and a lot of kisses. "Good evening aunties, how are you today?"

"Hebe." Her mother called out, interrupting the lively mood of the aunts. "Come. Let me take a look at you."

She walked up towards her mother who sat still like a beautiful portrait. "Beautiful" She whispered. "It suits you well."

Hebe kept her emotionless face throughout the whole time. She didn't want to be here and she knew her mother and aunts knew that she didn't want to be here. She remained silent for the rest of the afternoon tea.

One of the women took a look at Hebe and gave her a smile, Hebe knew she wanted something, "Hebe, have I introduced you to my son?"

Hebe gave herself a mental slap on the head but kept up appearances, "I think I've met him once at one of the parties. Calvin was it?"

Mrs. Chen grinned from ear to ear, she was ecstatic that her beloved Calvin made an impression on Hebe or at least made sure Hebe remembered his name. "Yes that's right! He was talking about how he would love to get together with you sometime. Perhaps show you around Hong Kong, it's been a while since you've been here right? Living in America must be so different compared to living in Hong Kong."

Hebe shrugged, "Pretty much the same but I guess you could say I had more freedom in America." She emphasized on freedom while giving her mother a glare.

"Pardon me Madam, but Miss has to go to her piano lessons" Kenny interrupted. Hebe mouthed a 'Thank you' then rushed into the house. Kenny definitely saved her.

"Hebe are you ready?" A man called out while checking his watch to make sure they weren't late.

"Calvin can you hold on a moment, I'm a girl! It's going to take some time getting ready." Hebe shouted back. She took a good look at herself in the mirror. Make up, perfect. Accessories, check. Dress, flawless. What was she missing? She took another good look at herself then grabbed her perfume and sprayed herself. "Done."

Calvin tapped his foot impatiently as Hebe walked down the stairs, "It's about time. She's going to kill you if you're late!"

Hebe shrugged, "Gillian can wait. I think she would rather have me looking amazing than looking like a train wreck right?"

Calvin shook his head in disapproval then grinned, "You're way too much princess!"

She stuck out her tongue at him and let out a giggle, "Whatever. If I'm the princess, I guess you're the...slave?"

"Shut up and get in the car, we're late."

"Young miss, that's not the way to your piano lessons" Kenny shouted after Hebe who was roaming through the streets. "Let's go"

"Kenny, allow me one day of freedom!" Hebe shouted then ran off, disappearing from Kenny's sight.

She continued to run until she ran out of breath. She looked behind her, Kenny wasn't in sight. She took deep breaths to calm herself down then continued exploring the city. "I want to go on an adventure" She declared but was knocked down by a mysterious figure. Thud.
